Ideal weight calculator
Get your "ideal" body weight from your height and sex using the Devine formula. A reference point, not a target. No sign-up.
"Ideal weight" is a blunt number — the coach helps you set a goal for your actual build.
What is "ideal weight"?
"Ideal body weight" is a height-and-sex-based reference that originated in clinical medicine — it's still used to dose certain drugs. It gives you a single number to anchor on, but it says nothing about how that weight is distributed.
How this calculator works
We use the Devine formula (1974), the most widely used variant: start from a base weight (50 kg for men, 45.5 kg for women) at 5 ft, then add 2.3 kg for every inch above that.
The caveat
Like BMI, Devine can't see muscle. A strong, lean athlete will "weigh too much" by this formula while looking exactly as they should. Treat it as a ballpark. For a goal that fits your actual build and training, that's what the coach is for.
