Waist is one of the most movable numbers — the coach builds the plan to shift it.

Why waist-to-height beats BMI

Waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) captures where your fat sits, not just how much you weigh. Fat around the waist is the kind most linked to cardiometabolic risk, which is why WHtR often predicts that risk better than BMI does.

How this calculator works

We divide your waist circumference by your height — same unit on both, so the ratio is unit-free. The simple guideline: under 0.5 is healthy, 0.5–0.6 is increased risk, and 0.6 or above is high risk. "Keep your waist under half your height."

Measuring your waist

Measure around the narrowest point, usually just above the navel, relaxed and without sucking in. Waist is one of the most responsive numbers to a sensible deficit and consistent training. Want a plan to move it in the right direction? That's what the coach is for.
