Calories burned calculator
Estimate how many calories an activity burns from its intensity, your weight, and how long you went. Free, instant, no sign-up.
An estimate — the coach folds it into a calorie target that actually adapts.
What is a MET?
MET — metabolic equivalent of task — rates how demanding an activity is relative to sitting still, which is 1 MET. A brisk walk is about 3.5, running around 9.8. The higher the MET, the more calories per minute.
How this calculator works
We multiply MET by your body weight in kilograms and the duration in hours: kcal = MET × kg × (minutes / 60). Heavier people and longer sessions burn more, which is exactly what you'd expect.
Use it as a ballpark
MET tables are population averages — your real burn depends on fitness, terrain, and effort. Don't eat back every calorie. Want a calorie target that accounts for your training without the guesswork? That's what the coach is for.
