How to read the beep test table

Find the last level you completed. Speed stays fixed within a level, while every shuttle adds 20 m to the cumulative distance. The VO₂ estimate uses the calculator's adult convention of age 18.

Beep test calculatorEnter the exact level and shuttle you reached to calculate your distance, time, and estimated VO₂ max.

The coach can turn your current level into intervals that fit the week you already train.

How fast is each beep test level?

Level 1 starts at 8 km/h, level 2 is 9 km/h, and each later level adds 0.5 km/h through the 21-level protocol.

Does the shuttle number change estimated VO₂ max?

Not within the same level. The Léger equation uses the level speed, but the shuttle number still changes total distance, time, and the exact score.
